Lou earned a B.S. in Finance and an Economics minor from the Warrington College of Business Administration as well as a B.A. in Political Science and a Classics minor from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

While at UF, she was an Executive Board Member of the Business Administration College Council (BACC), a Student Government Productions (SGP) staff member, a featured columnist and editor for The Independent Florida Alligator and a member of the following honor societies: Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, Pi Sigma Alpha and Eta Sigma Phi. She was active in the local community serving as Buchholz High School swimming coach and a member of the Young Life leadership team. She was also the music and entertainment columnist for The Gainesville Sun.

She moved to New York in 2000 and joined the Gotham Gators®. From 2003-2005, she served as VP, Finance. During that time, the club earned three consecutive titles for “Most Outstanding Out-of-State Gator Club”. Lou worked on Wall Street for six years before entering the full-time MBA program at the University of Chicago. While in Chicago, she was active in the Windy City Gator Club. She graduated from Chicago GSB in 2008 with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Strategic Management and returned to New York to work in Investment Banking.

Lou has a passion for music and entertainment. In her spare time, she can be found catching live shows, recording in the studio and attending conferences such as CMJ and SXSW.
